Care that treats the

Our PHŌS approach builds on what’s already strong in you — your resilience, your relationships, your sense of purpose — and focuses on the roots of lasting health, not just the illness. The goal isn’t only to get through this. It’s to grow stronger and live brighter, with progress you can actually measure.

LEVELS OF CARE

The right intensity, at the right time.

Treatment that adapts to your life — from intensive residential care to flexible outpatient support, and every step in between.

  • Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

    5 days/week · full day

Highly structured, day-level treatment for individuals who need intensive support while returning home each evening.

    Right for you if

You need intensive, structured care but have a safe, stable place to return to at night.

  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

    3 days/week · 3 hours

A balanced level of care offering accountability and therapeutic depth while allowing flexibility for work, school, or family.

    Right for you if

You need structured group and individual therapy while continuing daily responsibilities.

  • Virtual IOP

    3 days/week · online

The same structured IOP curriculum delivered through secure video sessions — clinically intensive care you can join from home.

    Right for you if

You want intensive support remotely, or travel, mobility, or scheduling make in-person attendance difficult.

  • Outpatient (OP)

    1–2 sessions/week

Continued therapeutic support for individuals maintaining recovery and reintegrating fully into daily routines.

    Right for you if

You have a stable home environment and need consistent, lower-intensity professional support.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU CALL

From your first call to your first day.

Reaching out is the hardest step. Here’s what happens after you do — and how we make the rest as simple as possible.

  1. 01

    Listen First

When you call, we listen to what you’re experiencing, how long it’s been going on, and the kind of support you’re looking for. Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.

  2. 02

    Gather basic information

We ask for contact details, any current diagnoses or medications, and recent treatment history, so our clinical team can understand what level of care fits best.

  3. 03

    Discuss levels of care

Based on what you share, we’ll walk through the options at Lifeline — PHP, IOP, Virtual IOP, and outpatient — and what a typical day at each level looks like.

  4. 04

    Review insurance and payment

Our team verifies your insurance, explains how your benefits apply, and reviews any expected out-of-pocket costs before you decide to move forward.

What happens during an admissions call?

When you contact Lifeline, our admissions team starts with a confidential conversation to understand your needs, symptoms, and goals. We review your mental health and substance use history, answer your questions, and discuss the most appropriate level of care. If coverage needs to be verified, we guide you through the next steps and help coordinate a smooth start.

How quickly can I start treatment?

In many cases, treatment can begin within a few days of your first call. Once we’ve completed a brief clinical assessment and verified your insurance, we work to place you in the right program as quickly as safely possible.

How long does treatment last?

Length of care depends on your needs and progress. PHP and IOP are typically measured in weeks, with clients stepping down to lower-intensity outpatient support over time. Your care plan is reviewed regularly and adjusted as you move through recovery.

How do I know what level of care I need?

You don’t have to decide alone. During admissions, our clinical team assesses your situation and recommends a level of care — PHP, IOP, Virtual IOP, or outpatient — based on your symptoms, stability, and daily responsibilities.

Is treatment confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is protected under federal law, and conversations with our team are confidential. We only share information with your written consent or where required by law.

Does insurance cover inpatient treatment?

Most major insurance plans provide coverage for outpatient addiction and mental health care. We work with many providers and offer fast, no-obligation verification so you understand your benefits before you begin. At this time we do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.

Can I stay in touch with family during treatment?

Absolutely. Because our programs are outpatient, you return home around your treatment schedule. When appropriate, we also bring loved ones into the process through family-centered support to strengthen long-term recovery.
