What happens during an admissions call?
When you contact Lifeline, our admissions team starts with a confidential conversation to understand your needs, symptoms, and goals. We review your mental health and substance use history, answer your questions, and discuss the most appropriate level of care. If coverage needs to be verified, we guide you through the next steps and help coordinate a smooth start.
What is sober living?
Sober living provides a safe, drug- and alcohol-free home where individuals can build healthy routines, stay accountable, and continue their recovery. Many residents transition into sober living after treatment, while others receive outpatient services alongside sober housing for additional support.
Can I receive treatment while living in sober housing?
Yes. Many people combine sober living with outpatient treatment to strengthen their recovery. Depending on your needs, you may participate in PHP, IOP, or outpatient services while living in a safe, structured recovery environment. Our admissions team will help you find the best path forward.
How long does treatment last?
Length of care depends on your needs and progress. PHP and IOP are typically measured in weeks, with clients stepping down to lower-intensity outpatient support over time. Your care plan is reviewed regularly and adjusted as you move through recovery.
Is treatment confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is protected under federal law, and conversations with our team are confidential. We only share information with your written consent or where required by law.
Does insurance cover inpatient treatment?
Most major insurance plans provide coverage for outpatient addiction and mental health care. We work with many providers and offer fast, no-obligation verification so you understand your benefits before you begin. At this time we do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
Can I work while living there?
Yes. Sober living is designed to support independent living, allowing many residents to work, attend school, and manage daily responsibilities while benefiting from a structured, recovery-focused environment.
